Ducks!

Who would have thought we would have been out feeding the ducks on Dec 30th in Ohio? Well this weather sure is crazy, but the boys loved getting outside. We went with Aunt Amy (who loved feeding the ducks as much as the boys), and when our 2 loaves of bread were gone we played on the playground. Andrew & Tyler both loved the slide. Amy got nominated to take Andrew down the biggest slide (it was an enclosed tube).

school christmas party

Mommy, Aunt Amy & Andrew all joined Tyler's class for his school christmas party. Snata visited & even gave a present to all of the kids- Tyler got a puzzle, one of his favorite things

Cookies

Tyler loved baking christmas cookies this year- from making the batter to rolling them out & cutting them out, it used to be the decorating that held his intrest Now he enjoyed it all

Old Nanny

Back in the hospital again, this time in Pittsburgh- went in for vomiting & diarrhea, now she is loosing circulation to her toes... what will be next?

Christmas @ Quail Hollow

Tyler was waiting in line to visit Santa & he asked me with such anticipation "Mommy what is that race car thing I wanted?" He was in tears at toys r us because he didn't know the name of it to tell santa

Movie night

We built a fire, turn out the lights & all snuggled up to watch the polar express. Oh & we can't forget the popcorn

The magic of christmas

Putting up the tree- tyler was a great helper & andrew a great hinderance- andrew loved all of the balls- too bad they were glass & he doesn't know the difference...

A new bike

TRyler got a new bike for his birthday from Grandma Lou- Lou & Grandpa Lyle. He picked out a hotwheels bike that is blue & neon green- it looks really sharp. Even though the weather was nice he didn't have much intrest right now. We will see what spring will bring

Mommy's little helper

Tyler loves to help fold the laundry. He is in charge of dish towels, washclothes & socks.

Andrew loves a bath- especially when we turn on the jets to make BUBBLES!

Toot, Toot,

Chugga, Chugga Big red car we'll travel near & we'll travel far. We went to see the wiggles & it was a great show. There was a bit of a dilemma with the tickets (fed-ex misrouted them to michigan), so for a while it was looking like we weren't going to be able to go. In the end it all worked out & it was a great show, with lots of singing & dancing. Tyler was refusing to dance, but i did catch him singing along. There was a girl behind us that kept yelling & tyler kept saying " i don't like yellers" i will have to remind him of that the next time he does some of his high pitched screeching.

Piles of Smiles

A little bit of fall fun. This provided hours of fun this afternoon. Andy didn't jump in but he enjoyed watching Tyler.

Our first overnight guest at the land. How can something so cute be harmful? And DaddyJim wants to do away with him...

Oh, my!

I couldn't resist...How can a boy so small sink a ship (not to mention clog a toilet) so large? He even remarked, "and it didn't even hurt mommy."

Not again

Someone wasn't very happy to be wearing his ears again... DOn't worry once the treats started coming all was well, the ears were forgotten.

Fall fun

The weather was finally good today, so Andrew got his first taste of playing in the leaves. He had a great time!

Tyler loved his green pumpkin. The next day Moses rubbed against it and it rolled on the the cement cracking apart. Tyler was in tears saying "now no one will think it is a beautiful pumpkin"

We grew all of the green ones in the garden, for some reason they wouldn't turn. All of the orange ones we got when we went to the pumpkin patch. We only carved 4 though, one for each of us. Tyler wouldn't help touch any pumpkin guts, he thought it was too gross

King of the Haystack

Both boys enjoyed climbing on the mounds of hay. Tyler is at the top & Andrew is one level down. Both were a little hesitant to go through the tunnels, but by the end they mustered up the courage.

No Fear

Andrew had no fear of the animals. He would keep the food between his thumb and forefinger so the animals would end up with his whole hand in their mouth before they got the food. No worries, he still has 10 fingers...

Hayride

Here is a picture of TYler on the hayride- as you can see it is kind of cold. We were close to the front of the wagon, but not too close because our neighbors on the ride got splattered by the mud the tractor tires picked up. That will teach Joe to pick a front row seat!
