it really is too early for this- it was just 60 degrees 2 days ago....

Tyler got the coast gaurd ship for his bday & andrew is all about taking it into th bathtub- it does float!

tyler's bday is on wednesday so we celebrated with our family party early. he requested chicken wings, sub sanwhiches & chili along with a chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream cake- YUMMO!

i have to confess, cutout cookies are my least favorite to make- i think it is b/c when i want to make cookies I want to do it now- not wait for dough to chill, the i struggle with the dough, but i do love to decorate them! we made owls, squirrels, acorns & turkeys for thanksgiving. the icing was choclate buttercreme. My boys loved them!

made these oh so cute message in a bottlenvites for tylers 6th bday party- they took hours but i love how they turned out!!

a little black cat by day

Emily was a little black cat while we went to watch tyler's parade. the weather couldn't have been better- low 60's and not a cloud in the sky. We can see Emily is happy. She loves to kick her feet really fast when she is happy- that is what she is doing here

Tyler's halloween parade

We started the day going to tyler's school to see his halloween parade. Only he was't allowed to wear his costume to school & it was a bit difficult to put on, so i wondered if he could do it. He did pretty good but his boot covers were upside-down (only one). But no one was the wiser.

we made a halloween cake with graham cracker haunted house, a pumpkin patch chocolate coved milano cookies for tombstones, marshmallow ghosts & a chocloate covered pretzel fence- YUMMO

in an attempt to get the boys outside for a beautiful day we opened a brand new box of chalk. tyler had fun but andrew... well he wasn't very creative

a trip to the apple orchard

Bradley came with us to the apple orchard, because they weren't allowed to go crazy picking apples, after all we had to pay for them, after we picked them- we had beautiful weather though & we even got a tour to see how the apples were bagged & also how they were made into cider.

Emily loves to take a walk- this night we had the whole neighborhood with us as we went to survey storm damage.

andrew goes to school

this was andrew's first day, by himself- he was allowed to take his blanket with him. As you can see it was quite a load.

while we didn't get much damage other folks weren't so lucky. We went to east canton to watch the steelers vs the browns & they had no power, so we turned around and went home. We didn't even loose our lights, those who did were out fo quite a while, some still had no power over a week later...
